To accompany the physical exhibition, the digital webspace dedicated to the head coverings. Each individual page includes the history surrounding the corresponding headcovering, 3D rendering of the covering and profile of someone who wears it and the work they do within their communities.
The 3D rending also allows users to select the head covering and further view and examine as an AR filter. This will open in your phones native AR filter software without being prompted to download any additional applications.

Introducing Not all heroes wear capes, some wear bonnets.
This hybrid physical and digital exhibition pays homage to people of color, whose traditional head coverings are often vilified, however are the people often on the front lines saving the world everyday. It is a moment to not only give them their flowers but also take a glimpse at the juxtaposition between their work and why the head coverings are vilified by mainstream media although it being a part of their culture. The physical exhibition will be accompanied with a digital website that will allow you to learn more about the people behind the head coverings.

This physical exhibition provided an opportunity for patrons to walk around the wardrobe to learn more about the purpose of the exhibit and the artist behind it, as well as highlighting the products within.
The left side of the wardrobe exhibited 3 mannequins donning a bonnet, durag & hijab; all three in varying colors & textures. While the right contained a cape, mask, coat and additional wardrobe items representing that this could be your next door neighbor, co-worker, acquaintance or even ourselves. The exterior was designed and completely wrapped in with vinyl. The exterior included copy about the exhibition with scalable QR codes that connected patrons to the digital exhibition.
